Many youth players wear an under armour style base layer.  Jock or Jill protection shorts with velcro for hockey socks is strongly encouraged and recommended. We encourage all levels of hockey experience. Due to our focus on developing hockey skills, we ask all Learn to Play participants to have basic skating experience. If you future player, has never skated, please enroll in a Learn to Play session with our partners at Sk8 Bay. These essential skating programs will help you players build a good foundation prior to learning to play hockey.  To learn more visit. LEARN TO SKATE USA
